A teaspoon of local honey a day (forever) really helps control allergies. (Not sure why, but it works) just don't use it with really young children who are too young for honey, or course.

I wipe everything down with clorox wipes. I give my son Sambucol and multi vitamen for my daughter. It may cut down on a few colds but they both are in daycare and still bring colds home.

I had a pair of black pants that I absolutely loved. I had picked them up at a thrift. I think they were Liz Claiborne or something. really nice and comfortable. Not dress pants but casual. One day my husband was spraying down the front of the house (vinyl siding) with bleach water and had to go inside for a minute, so I picked up the sprayer and started using it. I didn't think I was getting any of it on me because I didn't feel anything. When I washed the pants they had little tiny speckles all over them. I was so upset, but should have known better.
